The question that weighs on most newly licensed beauty professionals is:

Do I start my own business or go work for someone else?

First let me reassure you, neither is right or wrong? It’s deciding what is right for YOU. And that, my friend is so unique to you, that no class or program will have that answer for you.

All the answers are all within you. Maybe you won’t figure that out right away, but please take the time to figure out what works for you in this moment on your journey. Be honest with yourself. Remember, no right or wrong, just what’s right for you.

If you feel that working for someone else is the path you need to take right now, go do it! Find that place that you can learn and grow!

BUT, if you are anything like me, I want to do things my way. I don’t like anyone telling me what to do,lol. I say this half-jokingly, but really entrepreneurship is my passion. I love all that comes with it and believe me that’s A LOT!

When I started my entrepreneur journey, I went in mostly blind. I had my dream, but I also had a lot of fears. Entrepreneurship will highlight every insecurity and fear that you have. I learned so many things about myself, the good, the bad and the ugly! I wouldn’t change a thing, other than the time I wasted playing small, listening to others who thought I was “dumb” for going out on my own, for trying to be like everyone else, instead of what I wanted to create. I was trying to compete with others, instead of competing with past versions of myself.

I would have LOVED to have the wisdom I do now on what success means to me. How I show up as myself, not some version of what people think I should be.

Let me be the “mentor” that introduces you to who you really are, and that my dear is someone who knows what they want, show up every day for themselves, bets on themselves and is willing to face their fears head on.
